The AMIC Health Projects Database program uses a questionnaire to collect and provide information about health care projects funded by Diaspora organizations and individuals in Armenia and Karabakh since 1990.

The Republic of Armenia has greatly benefited from humanitarian assistance provided by Armenian Diaspora. Although numerous health projects have been initiated and funded by Diaspora to assist Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh, this database is the first attempt to provide web-based information about such projects.

The main purposes of the AMIC Database are the following:

  • provide information about programs,
  • avoid duplication of efforts,
  • identify what assistance is still needed,
  • provide credit for those who have funded programs,
  • evaluate the outcomes of the programs
